HF IRC
CTI – Helping Tactical Operators Integrate with the Entire Force
In August and November, 2010, CTI, in conjunction with Rockwell Collins, demonstrated the ability to perform real-time Internet Relay Chat (IRC) over a High Frequency (HF) data link. Between two sites over 800 miles apart, CTI used the Rockwell Collins ARC-200/VRC-100 radios to perform real-time IRC between multiple sites simultaneously to emulate an actual tactical environment.
CTI originally developed its IRC Proxy software in support of the NASA Airborne Surveillance program. The original software communicated using Iridium satellite communications modems. Under internal funding, CTI modified the software to work with the Rockwell Collins radios to demonstrate how this IRC capability could be installed and deployed within a tactical aircraft (such as the EA-6B). The two demonstrations clearly showed the viability of this technology within the tactical environment.

Walkabout
CTI – Integrating Systems to Help Find and Capture the Threat
CTI’s Walkabout product allows for complete control and monitoring of advanced cellular collection and interception systems. Walkabout allows a user to monitor, in real-time from a PDA or smart phone, the cellular activity within the area of interest. Used with a tactical signals collection systems, Walkabout provides a powerful tool to operators in the field, military intelligence, and law enforcement Personnel.
Walkabout currently operates on both Windows-based PDA’s and smart phones. CTI can customize Walkabout for use on I-Phone’s, Droid Phones, and other 3G/4G technologies. Walkabout can be operated over a direct connection to the collection equipment via secure/non-secure wireless links.

Counter-Narcotics
CTI – Helping Develop New Weapons Quickly and Efficiently
CTI was the prime systems integrator on the Counter-Narco Terrorist Surveillance System (CSS) program and the Schweizer Surveillance Upgrade Program. As part of these programs, CTI integrated a number of surveillance, navigation, and data link systems to include FLIR EO/IR sensors, Telephonics radar, Iridium satellite communications, military-grade inertial navigation systems, as well as special signals intelligence receivers and processors. CTI also developed custom tactical display software that allows for integrated control of the sensors, navigation systems, and data links.
